Solo Leveling is about warriors known as hunters where their special abilities are awaken to fight the monsters & magic beast from the ‘Gate‘ that appeared suddenly a decade ago. These monsters can only be taken out by the hunters with special abilities. Hunters are classified into 6 ranks, S, A, B, C, D & E. However once the abilities is awaken it can no longer be develop further.

Sung the weakest of the hunters known join a E-Rank raid mission, being introduced to Park a member who’s been on hiatus for a while. Song leader of the team gather the rest and went thru the portal to start off their mission.

Sung Jinwoo got hurt after collecting his first magic gems and Joohee, a healer got a call over to heal Jinwoo, while the rest of the teams continue to kill the beast and collecting the magic gems which is very much sought after by the government to promote green energy as it help to ease pollutions.

With the boss killed, the dungeon didn’t end as its usually does, and another path appears. Jinwoo vote tip the scale into going with better rewards in mind. 40mins into the path they reach a huge door leading them into a room full of statues circling the room with an altar in the middle.

Just as the leader reading the commandment held by one of the statues. The door swung closed. One of the members went to the door to get out, Song the leader shouted “Get away from the Door!”. However he was too late, as 1 of the statues by the door swung it’s axe and took off his head.

This triggered another attack from blowing a path simmering with fire taking out other hunters. Dread and fear grip the rest of the group that they might die from this mission. Jinwoo who is use to suffering one injury after another even on the lowest E-Rank missions.

What will happen to Jinwoo, will he survive?
