Into the Badlands is the perfect dystopian action drama. Beautifully choreographed fight scenes and characters that pull you in from the start.

Daniel Wu plays Sunny, a complex character in this badass action packed winner.

The future actually looks like the past, reminds me of a southern plantation near a river valley. The beautiful poppy fields are filled with blood. Survival is hard.

If you are a fan of martial arts you will love every episode. I am partial to gore and martial arts. The martial arts is top notch and becomes sewn into the story perfectly.

Sunny: My favorite character! He’s extremely loyal and smart. By the end of the season he’s left with a difficult decision to make.

MK: This teen is full of angst and secrets! MK drives me crazy, he’s brash and erratic.

Baron: This man is beast. His actions cause brutality and strife.

Notables: Veil (Sunny’s lady friend) and The Window (main rival)
