We begin with details about the band’s first gig. It will be at same place that Sato works part time. Uenoyama is encouraging and creepy at the same time. Given The Reason…do we find out something?

Uenoyama tells the band he’s working on a song and Sato is giving us full-fledged chicken nugget vibes. It was super cute how he stared at Uenoyama like, “TELL THEM!”

Nakayama and Kaji head to the bar after practice and have a quick chat about their bandmates. I love their sincerity and affection for their younger bandmates.

Kaji is flirting with Nakayama about his long locks and Nakayama almost faints. I am sure Kaji knows what he’s doing!!

Kaji needs a place to crash and Nakayama is about to pop!

Kaji putting Nakayama’s hair in a ponytail was tender and filled with so much affection.

We get a flashback with Nakayama listening to a lover’s quarrel between Kaji and another guy. That was the day Nakayama fell in love with Kaji, and since that day he’s been waiting/hoping for something to happen between them.

The vocalist in Nakayama’s band quit and subsequently the band disbanded. He also encounters a badass Uenoyama, but the timing wasn’t right. The perfect timing occurred when he was seatmates with Kaji and he noticed that he played the drums. The stars aligned and The Seasons were formed!

Back to the present, Nakayama is in full blown creep mode! I was a little sad to see Nakayama open the door to look for Kaji. What are Kaji’s feelings toward Nakayama?

Kaji is living in a sleek home with his gentleman friend. My heart is breaking for Nakayama.

Sato has skills on the basketball court and Uenoyama is so falling for him!

The guys eat and Kaji comes home with Nakayama again, this time he’s super drunk and Nakayama gets some skin to skin action.

A short period passes and Uenoyama completes his song and he’s excited and happy that Sato liked it.
Kasai figured this would be a great time tell Uenoyama about the rumor she heard from her friend. She casually states something very serious with an ominous warning for Uenoyama. This was beyond callus and it was stated from a place of complete envy and jealousy.

There’s many things I wish I didn’t do
But I continue learning” The Reason by Hoobastank
Kasai really thought she was being crafty and slick; you will not prosper. What do you think about this episode and Kasai sharing a rumor? Accurately titled Given The Reason!
