I’m so glad he was able to snap out of the shock. In this episode of Given Creep, Uenoyama is dealing the aftermath of Kasai’s words.

The audacity of Kasai trying to refute her last statements.

Uenoyama is confused. It’s a very shocking revelation and it will be interesting to see how Uenoyama unpacks this information.

When she said friend…I thought it was Uenoyama! But it’s Hiiragi, coming to chat with Sato. Sato tenses up and we can tell there is some tension between them.

Obviously in the past Hiiragi has had some issues with Sato, so him using the clarifying sentence is very telling. I’m sure Sato has his reasons for not contacting Hiiragi, we will see.

I sensed a condescending tone, it’s like Hiiragi wants to say something, but he would rather play this game. Sato is like, “I’m out bro.”

We’re introduced to Shizusumi, and we get a sneak peak inside what’s going on with Hiiragi. Though they were all friends since they were little, Yuki and Sato’s relationship went beyond friendship. Maybe this effected their friendship dynamic?

Uenoyama is in a state of disarray, he’s trying to process the information he received from Kasai and he’s completely out of sorts.

Kaji shows up and hypes Uenoyama about his song and this leads so some reflection.

Kaji has a flashback of his gentleman friend playing the violin, I’m alleging he must play amazingly!

Kaji’s laugh is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard!! I played that scene over like ten times! Can Sato muster up some lyrics…nope.

Sato is unsure that he can write the lyrics, Uenoyama is being extra, but I think he got through to Sato.

Nakayama brings up past relationships as great source material, Kaji has kittens.

Uenoyama is lamenting, what to do?!

I really like this conversation, well its not really a conversation it’s more about Sato sorting out his feelings and just talking about it. Listening is an amazing thing that means a lot to people who are trying to figure out their feelings. This felt like Sato was thinking out loud and trying to figure out what his next step will be.

Sato literally tapped out. I thought I was the only one who deep thinks like that.

Sato heads out for some reflection time. You can tell he has a purpose and he’s trying to tap into the emotions he’s kept under wraps.

Did we all think the same thing when Sato looked at the roof of the building? My heart is aching for him, also every time he sees kids playing it’s like he’s traveling back in time.

Kaji and Nakayama have a quick conversation about Sato’s past. Kaji flirts and Nakayama enjoys every minute of it.

Sato concludes his journey at the beach. The beach scenes were beautiful, and Sato’s final statement was such a major moment. Sato finally took a breath, he’s not lonely.

“But I’m a creep
I’m a weirdo
What the hell am I doin’ here?
I don’t belong here” Radiohead’s Creep…Perfect song for the episode, Given Creep.

Let’s walk by Kasai.

Uenoyama was not ready to see Sato, but you can’t avoid your future boyfriend for too long.

Sato has an emotionally healthy purge, while Uenoyama fake naps. I LOVED THIS!

Uenoyama’s feelings have been all over the place and finally he gets it. This epiphany of jealousy, Sato had someone he loved and Uenoyama is jealous.

There is a lot to unpack, Given Creep episode pulls at many emotional points. Now that Uenoyama knows what he’s feeling, what is he going to do about it?
